WebEyeAlert introduces HomeSentry, a digital video solution that secures and monitors people and
their homes in residential security applications.
The HomeSentry solution differentiates itself from other existing digital video recording products
because it converts a homeowner’s PC into a powerful state-of-the-art video surveillance system
that can monitor the premises while the individual is away from home. By combining all of the following
capabilities into one solution, HomeSentry is a uniquely versatile and cost-effective product:

The HomeSentry recording system has an easy-to-use graphical point-and-click user interface. Homeowners are able
to see live views of the connected cameras from the computer monitor, or display recorded video locally through
VCR-like controls. For ease of use, recorded video can be searched according to date and time, or with Smart
Search, whereby video is searched for motion within a user-specified target area.
The HomeSentry recording system’s optional Remote Access feature requires no special client viewing software. To
enable remote access to what the camera is seeing, a homeowner simply runs a Web browser on any PC, PDA, or Smart
Phone with suitable connectivity, and logs in to a secure WebEyeAlert-hosted Web site account with a valid User
ID and password. After being authorized, the homeowner is able to remotely view live and recorded video of the
camera.
